About COWE

COWE, the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs India, is a non-profit organization empowering women through entrepreneurship. At COWE, we believe in the limitless potential of women entrepreneurs. Our mission is to empower, inspire, and connect them in their journey toward success.

Founded in 2004 in Hyderabad with just 22 entrepreneurs, COWE has grown significantly over two decades. By 2025, we have expanded to more than 1,800 members across 12 chapters throughout India. COWE fosters an entrepreneurial environment through various initiatives, including Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs), technology transfer, advocacy, mentoring, and the establishment of industrial parks.

We also facilitate financial connections with banks and angel investors. Our conferences, networking meetings, and B2B platforms serve as catalysts for bringing government schemes to the grassroots level.
